The co-founders of Mud Time Theater are Steve Friedman and Denny Partridge. They've worked in theater together since 1970, on some 60 different productions. Veterans of the San Francisco Mime Troupe and NYC's Modern Times Theater, Mr. Friedman and Ms. Partridge have created and performed their own plays, and plays by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Jarry and others, throughout the USA and in Europe, Asia, and Central America, winning numerous academic and professional honors.

In their collaborating, Friedman generally sees to the script and Partridge to the direction and design, but these responsibilities spill over and merge all the time. The acting is shared.

Their one-chair set for Mildred is a choice. Theater should not be about real estate or even about shopping. Consume less and be more. A bare stage is an asset.
